Done - Official Exit Poll says Labour to win by 170 seats4

Think the biggest surprise could be Tories getting over 100 seats!!3

Totally astonished exit poll gives them 131ForeverAddickted said:Think the biggest surprise could be Tories getting over 100 seats!!3 -
I predicted 180 majority so not too far away.
Overall I am happy. We were always going to get a new government but reform are miles behind the Tories who will be able to go back to the middle ground and provide a decent opposition.

And Reform getting as many as 13. I'm not convinced that these are completely accurate .ForeverAddickted said:Think the biggest surprise could be Tories getting over 100 seats!!0 -

Now i'm going to try to sit up for four or five hours just to see the likes of Grant Shapps ,Jacob Rees-Mogg , Penny Mordaunt , Jeremy Hunt and Liz Truss's faces when they lose their seats.14

Nadine Dorries is so stupid it defies belief.12
-
It amazes me that a Tory MP could walk into staunch supporters house. Smash in all the windows. Shit on the carpets and set fire to their dog ..and they'd still vote for them!16

I can't watch the Channel 4 coverage simply because that gormless muppet is on and she's from my bloody county.lordromford said:Nadine Dorries is so stupid it defies belief.6 -
Don't worry, they've switched over to Ann Widdecombe.Bedsaddick said:

I can't vote now I live in another country but I put who I would have voted for.
I'm sure it won't upset the proceedings.1 -

Rishi's speech writer: Shall I work on your Election Victory speech tonight in case you win?

I think it's mostly a case of better the devil you know. What the polls show today is that Labour haven't really made any in-roads apart from in Scotland, clearly Starmer still has a massive question mark against his name for a lot of people. Labour's share of the vote was 34%, in 2019 it was 32% and they got trounced. Turnout was extremely low for this election (59%) and it appears that a lot of Tory voters stayed at home, some gave their vote to other parties and some of the 'fucking mental' people probably felt that there wasn't much daylight between Starmer and Sunak.JiMMy 85 said:
6.7m people in this country said "Yep, I want some more of this!" yesterday. And that is absolutely fucking mental.PopIcon said:Christ! Surely, those 12 Tory votes are a wind up. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣3 -
And the reality is that all parties have a core vote who will always vote for them, either because they genuinely believe in them or our of diehard loyalty. Labour in 1983 were completely unelectable, yet still gained more votes (just) than the highly credible SDP/Liberal alliance.0

More people voted Reform than for the Lib Dems. In that respect its all broken, but hey its the game.0
-
To a degree, but the other side would argue that 10.3m people looked at it in 2019 and genuinely wanted Corbyn to be the answer.JiMMy 85 said:

Thankfully I was right to be sceptical of that 13 seats prediction.Bedsaddick said:

But 4.5 million votes isn't too shabby for 4 seats! I find it ironic that a newly put together right wing party like Reform can shaft a right wing Tory party.
