    It is ridiculous. Supporters of VAR can claim it’s the way they apply VAR  that is at fault rather than VAR itself, rubbish. It’s a shit idea that is taking a lot of the joy out of a game that is, after all, first and foremost, entertainment.

    I'm finding it difficult with this game. People complain about the changes technology can bring to the game and I normally don't care but this game has been defined by two moments that are really hard to explain as worthwhile for the game, one because someone literally had a toe offside, and then a penalty was given for the crime of having arms. We had a good game going but it feels a bit flat now because the back office has taken it over. It's all a bit daft

    I feel lucky at my age to have enjoyed proper football going as far back as the late seventies becuase what we have today is absolute garbage. The game is over…

    Whats annoyed me more is there are a couple of occasions where he's clearly said: SKOV... OLSEN - So he even bloody well knows!!

    To be fair, he's probably on his way to being the player of the tournament if Germany continue to progress further.
