    Oh great !! thats us out then after losing to the mighty Austria. We were really unlucky after going 1 up in the first 10 mins but just could hang on for the other 80 mins of being camped on our penalty box and it just highlights that Saka, Bellingham etc just dont have that defensive side to their game to see a game out

    2am kick off for me. Still debating on whether to watch it after Denmark poor display. The next work day was not productive after heading to bed at 4.

    If last night was as expected the last we see of Luka Modric at a major tournament then what a player he's been. Probably my favourite player to watch from the last 10 years , a midfielder that could do everything.

    I'll be honest i haven't seen their games but looking at it, they lost to France and then beat a very average Poland side (who had 15 shots). What's so good about them?

    They looked slick against Poland. Moved the ball well, very quick in getting the ball forward in attack - their second goal was a great move. Second half they played brilliantly, and Baumgartner (who I've never heard of tbf) looks a real player. I just think they could cause us issues with how deep we find ourselves sitting.

    How they get on against The Netherlands will probably be a better gauge.

    A great player, but I thought the commentary was a bit OTT last night, when talking about the tragedy of him exiting international football like that, when all that happened was Croatia conceding a late equaliser in the 3rd match of a group stage when they've been pretty average.

    Looks like Hungarian: Varga is going to be okay after that incident against Scotland the other evening.

    Cheekbones were broken and displaced in several places, also suffered a skull and brain injury - Surgery is done, so the recovery process begins for him now.

    I'd still love to know what happened, barely looks like he gets touched for it to have caused that type of injury.

    Does feel like it’s just a matter of time until France score, but as long as it goes without a goal in Dortmund…

    Other thing to note is that without that Netherlands goal being ruled out the other night, France would’ve been in big danger of going home if Poland got a surprise victory.

    Netherlands were sleepy 1st half and the Austrians who have played to a high standard in this  Euro's had a deserved lead at HT.
    Suddenly The Netherlands wake up and this half they look decent.
    Funny old game.

    The man with the mask scores his 1st euro goal from the penalty spot as France go for top spot.

    As you were 2-1 to Austria. This is a funny old game with the positions keep changing.
