If last night was as expected the last we see of Luka Modric at a major tournament then what a player he's been. Probably my favourite player to watch from the last 10 years , a midfielder that could do everything.4

With England, Holland, Belgium and Italy capable of getting the odd knockout win.
I felt that before a ball was kicked in this tournament and it still looks that way with the last round of group games still to be finished.1 -

They looked slick against Poland. Moved the ball well, very quick in getting the ball forward in attack - their second goal was a great move. Second half they played brilliantly, and Baumgartner (who I've never heard of tbf) looks a real player. I just think they could cause us issues with how deep we find ourselves sitting.
How they get on against The Netherlands will probably be a better gauge.0 -

Looks like Hungarian: Varga is going to be okay after that incident against Scotland the other evening.
Cheekbones were broken and displaced in several places, also suffered a skull and brain injury - Surgery is done, so the recovery process begins for him now.1 - Sponsored links:

Impressive start from Austria, wont be surprised if we dont blame them in the RO16, even if we win our Group, beaut of a connection / finish from that cross0

Great finish from Malen.
Shame it was at the wrong end.0 -

I'd still love to know what happened, barely looks like he gets touched for it to have caused that type of injury.0

Austria winning that group as it stands!
I expect France to score soon, mind.1 -

So if France and Austria both win that would bring France and Netherlands into the bottom half of the draw as it stands but as you were otherwise to Cal's post above - correct? Bit of an ooof if it stayed that way regardless of what happens with us tonight...1 - Sponsored links:

Yeah current results really even out the KO Draws0

Depending on the results of the Group C games later, England might get paired with a different team from another group (E or F) altogether, or be looking forward to a game against Germany…0 -

Blatant foul by the ref on Depay then.0
-
Does feel like it’s just a matter of time until France score, but as long as it goes without a goal in Dortmund…
Other thing to note is that without that Netherlands goal being ruled out the other night, France would’ve been in big danger of going home if Poland got a surprise victory.2 -
That was quick - Netherlands equalise already
1 -
Netherlands were sleepy 1st half and the Austrians who have played to a high standard in this Euro's had a deserved lead at HT.
Suddenly The Netherlands wake up and this half they look decent.
Funny old game.
The man with the mask scores his 1st euro goal from the penalty spot as France go for top spot.
As you were 2-1 to Austria. This is a funny old game with the positions keep changing.

France finally off the mark. From the penalty spot.
France on top of the group as it stands.1 -
France 1-0 Poland, and go to the top of their Group
Just need a Netherlands goal, to send France into the other half of the draw again.0 -
Austria back in the lead0
