If you thought England were struggling to break teams down… two games in and no French player has scored.4
-
lol!... Was that the first 0-0 since England vs Scotland did they just say?0
-
Poland out.0
-
I do feel that H2H as a first tie breaker is a bit shit, given that Poland have nothing to play for now.
Why not Goal Difference first?
Poland and Netherlands could win their last games 5-0 each, and it wont matter for the former because of one game, rather than three.1 -

If there was no VAR the goal would've still been disallowed.
But hey, it's all about opinions. No reason to disallow it for me.0 -
Having seen the replay, that's still a very harsh decision.

Report from our German Correspondent!Stayed at Birmingham Airport on the Friday night for an earl;y flight Saturday morning. Queues a mile long at 3.30am trying to get to security - due to building works the only way to get there on the second floor were lifts, hence the queues. Got to Frankfurt Airport at 8.30am, dumped the bags at the airport hotel and then got the 15 minute train to Frankfurt Central for the first beer of the day! Bars good and the fan zone was first class.Sunday morning got the train to Essen and was very impressed with the DB train service, fast, very comfortable and on time. Dumped the overnight bag at our Essen hotel and had a few drinks in the town centre - not overly impressed with Essen! Tram to the fan zone for a few more before queuing for the tram to the ground which is in the middle of nowhere! Despite the high risk nature of England v Serbia there was zero segregation walking from the tram to the stadium - thankfully no trouble at all (apparently that was reserved for Essen between Serbs and Albanians!).Shalke is a very nice stadium and food and drink easy to get and not too expensive - great atmosphere on the concourses before the game. The match started so well but negativity in the second half was almost inexplicable. Still 3 points.Traveling away from the ground, as others have said, was a farce and very dangerous with queues not moving and crushing was becoming a real safety issue - the Police doing absolutely nothing. How the hell did they expect to get 40,000 fans out of there? Ended up going backwards and forwards on the trams until we eventually decided to go to Gelsenkirchen to get the train to Essen. Left the match before 11.00pm and arrived at out hotel in Essen at 3.00am - 12 km away. Taxis in Gelsenkirchen wanted 500 euros to get back to Essen - f*ck that we decided to cram on to a train - 20 carriages and all packed like sardines - at 2.00am! Train back to Frankfurt on Monday morning and I've never been so glad to get back to our airport hotel where we stayed until yesterday. On the p*ss in Frankfurt (bars and fan zone through the week (I took a bit of Tuesday off, well my liver did, while my boys went into Frankfurt), then Thursday off to the Frankfurt Stadium. Again, a very impressive stadium and thankfully the traveling from the centre was better although some queues coming out of the stadium. Fantastic atmosphere around the concourses with no segregation (not needed with the Danes) and some brilliant banter. The less said about the game the better.Back home yesterday - flight from Frankfurt was delayed an hour and then once boarded the heavens opened and we stayed on the stand for about 40 minutes due to all ground operations being suspended. The weather broke and we managed to get away (Lufthansa so always likely to get priority). I think the storm blew back in and I understand some fans never made it out of Frankfurt and had to wait until today.Overall an enjoyable away trip with my two sons (our first at a tournament) and I managed to keep up with them most of the time! Chatted with plenty of Charlton fans as well.Hopefully back to Berlin for the 14th July although my confidence levels have taken a bit of a beating after the first two games.15

Sounds like Shaw might be flying home, although only reading that through GB News, so could yet be a load of crap.1
-
Just arrived in Dusseldorf for 4 nights. Flew into Dortmund this morning which was absolutely heaving with Turkish fans who play there later. Hoping for a good trip2
-
Didn't mind us taking Shaw - it's a 26 man squad, you can have 2 for every position, 3 keepers and still have room for 3 'extras' so it was worth the risk.
But not taking another left footed left back as back-up given he had injury issues was daft. Should have taken Mitchell - plays with Guehi too so there'd be some understanding there.
Trippier isn't working IMHO. If we don't do anything radical (Saka at left wing back, for example), Gomez might be better than Trippier given he's played there all season.4 -

Still fancy France to win it. Kante at 25/1 for player of the tournament looks a decent bet IMO.
Another three matches to enjoy today. Hope they are better than yesterday’s three.0 -

lol!... Murphy stop being so reactive, you're looking stupid.
Once again there is an incident, this time being Georgia vs Czechia, he immediately shouts penalty, and thinks it should be given.
Sees the replay and mumbles: "Yeah maybe not"0 -
Thank gawd for VAR:
The ball rebounds off the Czech forward's face into the goal but clearly hits his arm before going over the line.

Danny Murphy's back peddling on that penalty decision was faster than anything he did on the pitch.9

Probably the most simple handball you'll ever see given.
Why the hell was his arm out like that?0 -
As a neutral this game is so enjoyable:
It's a joy to see players get the ball and run forward with intent which the Georgian's do.
The Czech had I believe 10 (estimate) shots on target in that half.
Great watch.2 -
Just back from Germany. My advice to anyone going out there is minimise any travel on German public transport, its shite. Doesn't matter if its match related or not, its crap. If you have to use it get your information from the DB app as there is nothing helpful at stations and no one to ask. Build loads of flex in to your journey as there will be cancellations and delays. And get pissed and talk to loads of people =helps pass the time!1

What a miss at the death!4

Georgia looks like one of those counties where the women appear to be supermodels but the men look like ogres.5

I can’t believe goal music is still a thing.1
