The idea of achieving greater things is a privilege to the very young (in football) or higher level players.3 -
DyerConsequences said:Cambridge have made their first signing, Defender Kelland Watts on a free from Newcastle.
They are the 12th team to sign a player, so half the league now has at least 1 new signing.I thought he was effective for Peterborough when they played at the Valley a couple of years ago.
Seems to be quite injury prone.0 -

That also shows Salford's place in the football pecking order...0 -

Burton could be an interesting one to watch , new manager in Mark Robinson (ex AFC Wimbledon and Chelsea Academy) and ambitious new Scandinavian owners with sports backgrounds.0

But they ended up being worse than us!
I would hope this year we are competing at the other end of the table to them.0 -

Yeah I don't expect them to suddenly be competing for playoffs out of nowhere just because they've got a bit more financial muscle than they did in the past and takeovers are never a guarantee that they'll work out for the better after having the same owner for 20 odd years.
Definitely want to be at the other end of the table , as congested as I expect that to be!1 -

Oh absolutely, that pitch would be the first thing I'd get fixed as the owners because he'll definitely want to get the ball down and play.0 -
