    I'm worried Bellingham is going to be a bit of a flop in this tournament. He's hardly set the world alight in the last 3-4 months.

    Agree on best player but not top scorer.

    Schick and Ronaldo were joint top scorers in 2021. Portugal knocked out in the round of 16 by Belgium and Czech Republic in the quarter finals by Denmark.

    The way the tournament is set up now, if you have some dross in your group and it helps if you’re the main goal threat, you shouldn’t even need to go past the quarter final to be in with a shout.

    That’s why I’m looking at players like Kane, Lukaku and Ronaldo rather than Mbappe for instance.

    Heading out for the opening England game on Saturday and back on the Monday evening. About 10 hours on the train door to door so plenty of time to drink some cold beers.
