Not L1, but Port Vale have signed Ronan Curtis on a 3 year deal. He did well at Wimbledon, so surprised he moved to another L2 club.
The 3 year contract probably swung that one. Doubt anyone else would offer that length.

Rotherham seem to be working in a completely different transfer window to every other club...
    The transfer window isn't open

another very good signing .. Evans has obviously been given a good budget to strengthen the squad
He has been told that the next signing comes out of the food budget.  Pointless really as he will just eat the player.
Many a true word said in jest .. Roast JCH … Hmmmn. Lovely 🥹

Wycombe just confirmed Alex Hartridge from Exeter on a free transfer. Must be our turn soon but it seems the top half of the alphabetical league one table are playing a game of chicken as to who will make the first signing.

As with a lot of players that have passed through Charlton, i have him in the "would be decent at this level of he could stay fit" category.

Decent player is Kerr.  Wouldn't have minded him but he has had his share of injuries.

I'd prefer Goode of the Wigan defenders but Kerr is definitely solid

Experienced midfielder Liam Kelly is the latest player to be added to the Rotherham United ranks by boss Steve Evans this summer, with the seasoned Sky Bet Championship campaigner set to join the club upon the expiry of his Coventry City contract, subject to EFL and FA ratification.

Kelly’s arrival marks signing number seven for Evans, who has been incredibly pro-active in the way in which he has conducted his recruitment this summer with a number of key targets already signed up ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

Rotherham sign 7 frees and two clubs bring in players for undisclosed fees. Frustrating we have to wait until the opens and they don’t.
  • Jordan Rhodes has rejoined Blackpool, this time permanently after being released by Huddersfield.

Terrell Thomas linked to Notts County and Michael Hector linked to Port Vale. Says a lot about our often starting CBs last season that they may both be dropping down a level

No surprise they both came out saying they wanted to stay with us when that is their alternative options!

I wish them both the best of luck, Terrell clearly cared was just limited in what he can do, I don't mind it so much if a player works their bollocks off. Hec never really delivered on what we thought we were getting, and despite him having a huge brain fart in him, I felt a bit more assured with him in the side than some of the others who have played at the back, one of whom we extended. Saying that, we can do much better than both

Seems a decent signing for Wigan that. Certainly an upgrade on Sean Clare!

Sean Clare now available? That could lift the excitement levels if we can get in quick.

Sheyi Ojo released by Cardiff, would be an absolute star at this level (if we decided to start playing with widemen who aren't wingbacks)
