He spent a month playing in league 2 for Swindon in 2003. Surely that doesn’t count as part of his “Premier League Career”, otherwise we’d have to say Louis Fiorini was a Premier League player this year.
”Professional Football Career” would’ve been just fine.0 -

DyerConsequences said:One I heard yesterday. Everton started 9 English players against Luton last night. The last 45 times a Premier League team has had 9+ English players in the starting lineup, the manager of that team was Sean Dyche.1

Birmingham played Hull four times this season, twice in the league and twice in the FA Cup, and every time they had a different manager.19

Mr Jolly seems to be very keen on stats based on Milner's longevity, there are some doozies on his Twitter account: https://twitter.com/search?q=milner+from:richjolly&f=live0 -

And I suppose if your criteria is to have played at least once in the premier each year, then fair enough.
Unfortunately, the nature of statistics is to frame facts to suit your own agenda, so I’m always a bit suspicious of the wording! It’s the nerd in me! 🤓1 - Sponsored links:

Heard this one on The Sweeper (superb podcast that I can warmly recommend):When Terschelling (from the island Terschelling) plays Geel Wit (from the island Armeland), it's one of the closest derby's you will have it Dutch football. It's however also the one with the longest away travel for the visiting team. The islands are located approx 2 miles from each other. However, there are no ferries between them and for some reason they're not allowed to sail to the other island in a private boat. Therefore if travelling from Terschelling, you have to go to another island and then get the ferry to Armeland (and vice versa).Travel time: 5 hours.13

About the same time as it took to get to Selhurst Park.4

Another one from the podcast ‘Sweeper’:
Oslo KFUM (Norwegian version of YMCA) plays in the Norwegian top flight, Eliteserien.
Since their changing rooms are located separately from the stadium, players must cross a zebra crossing, causing traffic to halt.

Rene Higuita wasn't fit for USA 94 as he'd been in prison for acting as a go between for Pablo Escobar in relation to a kidnapping and the payment of ransom money.0

Another one from The Sweeper:Torvastad from the Norwegian 5th tier defeated Haugesund from the Norwegian Eliteserien (their top division and equivalent to the Premier League) after extra time and penalties in the Norwegian cup tournament.Their goalkeeper (who is a school teacher by day) saved 4 penalty kicks. And guess who he supports and has a season ticket for?Haugesund!
(I guess games in the 5th tier don’t generally aren’t played on the same day / or time as the ones in their top division?).7 - Sponsored links:
