I very much doubt that there are many, if any, people so weak-willed that they get converted to your cult through a post-match interview.ValleyOfTears said:

How do we all feel about having a faith-filled gifted manager at the helm. Who actually attributes ALL his success to his faith in Jesus Christ! I can imagine there are some who would take a n y o n e except a Christian manager who openly speaks about his faith. He's started really well ...let's keep praying for him! 🙏 👍

Religion should be kept far away from football. It's done enough harm in the rest of the world.7
-
I’m a 100% atheist and have zero time for religion of any kind. What I will say though is that I prefer people like Jones who are obviously committed to their faith and feel comfortable to display it at any given moment than the hypocrites who pay lip service to religion because they feel they must. The classic example are American politicians who regardless of their own standpoint feel compelled to add God bless America at the end of every speech just because it’s expected. Obama included and there is no way that man believes in a god.2

There is spirituality and spirituality.
Russel Brand is cosplaying Catholicism because he is a vile rapist and abuser, nothing to do with any internal spiritual life he may have.
I believe that we all have a relationship with our internal landscape of morality. Plus a curiosity as to what is it all about and where did it all come from.
For some they blow that internal debate up so much they create a religion about it…and if they want there are a lot of religions to choose from!
The problem is so many mass religions are vehicles for destruction, none are exempt, even Buddhism.
If somebody has an internal existence it does not mean they believe in a God, nor does it mean they believe every question can be answered by science.6 -

More recently the war in the Ukraine.
The fighting in Israel is a land conflict.Crusades (11th-13th centuries): A series of religious wars initiated by Western European Christians to regain control of the Holy Land from Muslims.Thirty Years' War (1618-1648): Initially a conflict between Protestant and Catholic states in the Holy Roman Empire, it later evolved into a broader European war involving political and territorial disputes.French Wars of Religion (1562-1598): A series of conflicts between Catholics and Protestants in France, marked by massacres, assassinations, and sieges.Islamic conquests (7th-8th centuries): Military campaigns led by Islamic caliphs to spread Islam and conquer territories across the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Europe.Reconquista (8th-15th centuries): A long period of military campaigns by Christian kingdoms in the Iberian Peninsula to reconquer territory from Muslim rule.Jewish-Roman Wars (1st and 2nd centuries): Revolts by Jewish communities against Roman rule, motivated partly by religious beliefs and resistance to Roman religious and cultural practices.Wars of the Reformation (16th century): Conflicts across Europe sparked by the Protestant Reformation, pitting Catholic and Protestant states against each other.Irish Confederate Wars (1641-1653): Conflicts in Ireland between Catholic Confederates and Protestant English and Scottish settlers, fueled by religious, political, and ethnic tensions.Bosnian War (1992-1995): Although primarily driven by ethnic and political factors, religious identity played a significant role in the conflict between Bosnian Muslims, Serbs, and Croats.Northern Crusades (12th-16th centuries): Military campaigns by Christian kingdoms and orders to conquer and convert pagan Baltic tribes in the Baltic region.
In fact the one guarantee is that where communism is spread ~ war is ALWAYS an essential part of it. It doesn't even promise salvation or hope or peace in its dogmas. So the thought that Communism will somehow "stumble upon" these noble things is ridiculous. I think one will find that the desire for earthly transient power is at the heart of nearly all conflicts.1 -
