An excellent pass from Wickham splits the defence. Dobson rounds the keeper and slides it into an empty net with his left foot.

Lovely defence-splitting pass sent Dobbo through on the half way line and the skipper outpaced the chasing defenders before cooly going round the keeper and slotting into the vacant net.

Anyone who still thinks we won’t massively miss him next season has shit in their eyes.

Dobson gets a goal, and he’s Hungary for more.
  • Wow... What a finish from Dobbo, I genuinely thought that was May at first

May finds Wickham and he plays an outstanding pass through to Dobson, who shows great composure to round Marosi and convert in front of the Covered End!  COME ONN!

I think it's fair to say the atmosphere here is a tad better than it was when the half time whistle sounded.

If the rest of the team is no better than this then of course we will.

    Coventry just wide!

I think Jones might have said a few nasty shouty words.

Same was said by some of us when talking about Albie Morgan

    49' Close from Coventry
He sends a left-footed shot narrowly wide.

Shows up the initial formation as being even more useless a choice from NJ

Whatever NJ did half time seems to have done the trick...Coventry within a whisker of making it 2-1, just wide of the LH upright

Well if Coventry is the replacement then it doesn't bode well.

Whether we miss him next season or not will entirely depend on what next season’s team looks like. He’s a good League One player, he’s not Bobby Moore.

Why are people so adamant that he is? Next season we need to replace the majority of central midfield, with Dobson, Bakinson, Camara, Fiorini, Watson and probably Fraser all not being here, so why would Coventry be the "replacement"

Wickham is definitely a tidy and useful player. Good touch for a big man. Awful injury history unfortunately, and we've already got one of those.

If Dobson is the best we can possibly hope for then it doesn’t bode well for the club’s future full stop.
