            My favourite hotel https://www.tui.co.uk/destinations/europe/croatia/croatia-istrian-riviera/rovinj/hotels/hotel-istra.html?utm_medium=paidsearch&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIxfH-1f3JhQMVE5dQBh2z0QOBEAAYASAAEgKjLvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
On an island off the lovely town of Rovinj (hourly shuttle boat all day), safe swimming, attached to a second uninhabited island with woodland walks by causeway. Oh, and a naturist beach on the attached island.

Anyone been to Playa Papagayo? - I gather it is down a 'dirt track'. Shrek is concerned about the hire car - anyone driven it and is it ok to take a hire car?0
