    I think overall, given our penchant for low scoring, tight games built on trying not to concede, Skeels gets my vote, joint top of the league on clean sheets kept, and being in the heart of that defence all season, as captain at the age of 22.

    Skeels had a very good season again. She won it last year. This year I'm going to vote for Beth Roe, who has also been excellent whenever I've seen her.

    Actually, Roe won it last year, not Skeels.
