Oxfords New Fully Electric Ground

Not sure if this has already been posted here.

Sounds like they have a very future-proof ground in place, hopefully, a lot better than what they've got now.

Oxford United Football Club has announced plans to build the first stadium in the country powered solely by electricity

What are stadiums usually powered by?

    Nuclear? Steam? Hope?

It's another out of town ground but looks within a couple of miles of Oxford Parkway station, and all the facilities parkway stations bring.

Anything with more than a car park at one end is an upgrade for them

There’s a lot of resistance from the local council and residents about building a stadium at the proposed site. I imagine this is an announcement to get publicity and support.

They’re definitely one to watch. An ex owner who kept the ground and wants to develop the land seems a little close to home.

Potentially a small window in to our future.
