  • No need to VPN it either as it's midweek. Whether I bother watching is another matter!
  • Thanks

    Why’s it going?
  • Will be gutted next season when this goes.  Curbs, Brown and Minto get it and have proper empathy with our plight.

Also great gallows humour and discussion to temper the nonsense we endure on and off the pitch.

Hopefully they can be retained in some capacity. We need good Charlton people at the club.

Completely agreem along with CL they have kept me going during this very long drought. Gutted if it ends next season

Something to do with Sky Tv, others will explain it better than me.

    No live streaming apparently
  • Looks like it'll be a red button type thing on Sky.

I paid a tenner for the stream tonight, I would pay a lot more to hear what they say off-air.

No live streaming in the UK I believe.

Suspect Charlton TV will remain, but just not in its current format. Will be the stripped back version we see for Micky Mouse cup games.

Football League clubs do pretty well out of iFollow so suspect there will be some resistance to it being done away with.

The EFL clubs agreed the Sky deal

Saturday games have only been available to those of us outside the UK and Ireland anyway  ;)  All matches will continue to be available to us according to the EFL. So I don't see why it would make any difference? It's just that the audience wont be as big for the midweek fixtures.
  • Charlton TV is about the only thing with any credibility at the moment I would say. It's there because we had a US based owner who wanted to see decent coverage, I guess, and hiring Scott Minto bought in a level of professionalism that otherwise wouldn't be there. Watching them last night was an interesting insight into them trying to remember that they are an official channel of the club and should therefore be under the Comms remit, whilst also wanting to be honest football people and honest journalist.

In short, Sky will be streaming the matches themselves in the UK/Ireland.

Will they stream for the home audience as well? Have the rules changed? Or will all games be available on VPN only as now?

yeah, the Championship coverage this year has been mainly Leeds and Leicester.

Suspect if they go up, a huge amount of Wrexham games will be shown

My thoughts are the same as @Rothko above. How much of a look in will our games get when Sky will no doubt be obsessing with Wrexham, Chef Wendy, Brum, Blackburn  (if they go down). Good job Leeds aren’t in our division 🤭

If they are scheduling all games so far in advance, we will be on twice before Xmas. Then every week afterwards as we will be eight points clear at the top on new year's eve...
