To be honest, I find it pretty classless! The frustration should be directed at the people above Appleton! I’m not disputing that he needs to go but nobody deserves that barrage of abuse! Why he was ever in charge for this game is beyond me.
It was the same with Atkins he should have gone after the Lincoln City loss, but then it took a 3-2 defeat to Accrington Stanley at home for the plug finally to be pulled.9
