Clashing shirts

Why on earth are Newcastle wearing their home shirts against Sunderland today? Sunderland play in Red and White with Black numbers while Newcastle are in black and white with Red numbers. Both shirts are predominantly or at least half white.
It may not be a problem for those watching live, but on TV when watching a wide shot, I’m constantly having to look twice at peripheral players. It can’t be just me?

Seriously, I know we’ve had these discussions before, but surely they should’ve used a change strip?

I kind of agree with the shirts, but it's easy enough to distinguish them just by the shorts/socks.1

agree. I get pissed if when we wear black for no reason, but this is an obvious clash.0

In my opinion all teams should wear their club colours unless there is a direct clash . It is odd to hear the chant come on you reds / blues etc when the team is wearing sky pink or some other hideous creation0

Had to change my colour settings for this game. The pitch is now a neon green. Still only slightly easier to distinguish the black from the red. Hard for the brain to process!0
