    Peter Shaw - Centre Half who got off to a disastrous start, but became a solid defender

    Paul Gorman - Promising Centre Forward who, as per usual, didn't score many.

    Les Berry - Stalwart defender who was with the club 14 years but never hear anything about these days.

    Peter is still a season ticket holder and I speak to him sometimes. He is still in touch with Les who doesn’t ever come to Charlton anymore .

    If people had truly forgotten them, they wouldn't be able to remember their names to put on here!
    I think the object is probably to remember players who others may have forgotten about, rekindle memories and spark a little debate about their qualities or lack thereof.

    Yes Alan McLeary and Tony Hazell, both well past their best.

    Who were the twins , one played at left back and another in midfield. 

    I remember going up the wing when they kept passing to each other.

    I think from Pardew onwards we've had so many players that it's hard to remember them all. A while back I saw something about Nathan Byrne, it mentioned his previous clubs and there we were - I had no recollection of him at all, but after a bit of head scratching he came into focus, he wasn't bad as I remember. I was behind the goal at Brentford and said to one of the lads that their goalie looked familiar, it was pointed out that he used to play for us (David Button). So, a mixture of too many players and senile decay on my part I reckon.

    Woke up this morning with some random names running though my mind and I can't think why; Derek Hales, Clive Mendonca, Sam Bartram, Chris Powell... who the hell are these people?
