Squad Numbers

The team sheet for the Dartford friendly gave every player a shirt number, also May has been confirmed as 9
Can anyone ITK confirm if the are the squad numbers for this season so I can prepare the stat spreadsheets for the season

I do believe the ones for Dartford are accurate. However, best wait to see what they have in the game against Orient for better confirmation.

    Some notable ones being:

    Maynard-Brewer 1
    Ness 5
    Hector 6
    May 9
    Fraser 10
    Leaburn 11

Would be even better if they just weren’t given one.

A few weirdos call him Mansfield because there was a rumour he was going there last season.

Not too happy with him having a low number as it suggests he will play a part but I would rather he goes on loan to a league 2 club.

Finalised squad numbers are not normally announced until a few days before the season starts, although Holden may have a different approach.

    2 new wingback
8 new box to box midfielder
    12 Lloyd
    13 new wingback
    17 new striker
    25 new "forward"

Might not mean much until he plays in a friendly (and even then the numbers could still change) but in the behind the scenes video from earlier, Lloyd Jones was  wearing training shorts with 2 on it.

That's still a long way from a top six side.  Much transfer business still to be done in both directions I hope.  I think and hope that we will get at least one, maybe two, youngsters who really emerge htis season and become mainstays.

Genuinely the absolutely shittest attempt at giving someone a nickname I have ever seen on here, and there have been some real contenders. Imagine taking a player who already has a nickname that takes up an entire two letters and deciding naming him after a football team that he didn't sign for in a move that would have had absolutely no controversy to it is a good one, and just having to live with that as your sense of humour. Devastating.

17 or 7 for Edun? Depending on what happens with DJ...

Have to wait and see on Taylor (assuming he signs)

I'm guessing 17 or 25 for Edun. I feel like he would like a 25. He could go 12 or 13, but I feel like he likes a bit more spice than that. Or 7 if we move DJ on in a reasonable timeframe.

I think Taylor takes the other one.
