It seems improper to discuss this on the other Millwall thread.

Rivalry has no part in this. We can only dream of an owner like John Berylson, who has been a fantastic custodian of Millwall.

    RIP John. A proper football owner who provided them with stability throughout and year on year increased the transfer budget and made them a better team every summer!

    Met John a few times through work and always enjoyed talking to him. He was a very good owner for Millwall and I think always was seen with respect from our side of South London. A sad loss - sympathies to his family, friends and all at Millwall

    Shocking news. What we'd give for an owner like him these past few years. Done wonders for Millwall and by all accounts a throughly nice bloke to boot. RIP

    very sad news, Millwall mate always spoke very highly of him. Always understood it was about the club and had a great deal of time/appreciation of their fans....Rest in Peace Mr Berylson
