  • The deadline for playing this round was 5 November, so I guess the second round draw will be shortly after that? There's then 3 weeks to get the second round played.

Best £5 spent on football for ages ! Enjoyed that.
Only £3 for me. Great game. Both full backs scored from open play. Mostly accurate passing and playing for each other.

Draw will apparently be 1pm on the 5th November.

Ryan Huke seems to be scoring a lot recently

He's already got a Pro Contract as well, which is handy

11 games into the season and the only single digit score the U18s haven't finished a game on is 2.

Subscribers to Charlton TV used to get tantalising videos haphazardly posted of the U18’s to enjoy.
    Now nothing at all.
Would anybody like a glimpse of any of the games or the players in action, like the Liverpool 8-1 or the Millwall 4-4 or whatever.
Why can’t Keohane personally upload content onto that platform, he seems to do bugger all else…maybe he is busy doing the programme for the Coalville game.

I wonder how many Kanu had scored after 11 games last season and so how Casey compares.

  • I see Casey turned 17 in December and I think Kone is already 18. Are they signed up to professional contracts does anyone know.  Seem two very promising talents.

Don’t believe so, the club would usually announce u18s signing pro.

    12 wins, 2 draw 3 defeats.
17 games and 66 goals - just shy of 4 a game average.

    Casey 21 goals.
    Rylah 10 goals
    Huke 8 goals
    Enslin 7 goals
    Hand 5 goals
    Bower 5 goals
    Yamoah 3 goals
    Kanu 2 goals
Myers, Anderson, Hobden and Asiimwe 1 goal. Own goal 1

    Updated numbers above. Amazing numbers.

Assuming Casey has played every game his average is over a goal a game.

Our fans have not picked up on this lad yet but his record must be as good, if not better than Kanu's was last season.  Turned 17 in December, I hope he signs up with us.

Not seen much of Casey yet.  Quite a decent size for his age though.  Looks the part and has stats to match but need to reserve judgement until I see him play a bit more

I have seen Patrick Casey on a couple of occasions.
No point in rushing to judgement right now, but his age and his stats tell a story.
Hasn’t struck me as particularly big (certainly not Leaburnesque) but seems to be effective and competitive, and thinks like a footballer and a team player.
He certainly didn’t strike me as a weak or poor player.
