    Jimmy South Stand.

    Don't want to belittle what RM has done but JS did more over a longer period including winning our only major trophy.

    Other than the founding boys I don't think you can beat what he did.

    About time we named a stand after him.

    It can only be determined retrospectively.

    Richard Murray I would agree is possibly the most important person in Charlton's history but equally he may never had had the opportunity to contribute had other important people not intervened to save the Club earlier in it's history.

    Albert and Stanley Gliksten, before them David Clark who became a director to prevent Humphreys builders liquidating the club for unpaid bills. Even John Fryer and his consortium although what they did after saving us was horrendous.

    I reiterate such a thing can only be determined retrospectively.

    Agreed and it was he who brought in Richard Murray who took us onto the next level

    My son Piers, mascot v Portsmouth on his tenth birthday, Dec 26, 1987...

    Followed closely by another vote for Roger Alwen. Without him there would have been no Richard Murray and probably no CAFC... then I'd have to say Lennie Lawrence.

    That's in my time of watching...if going back pre-1960s then probably Glikstens and Jimmy Seed.

    The most important people are those who created Charlton in the first place, and those who have acted as lifesavers up to now. Lifesavers at vital times on the pitch, lifesavers who put in their money, lifesavers who took action when many felt helpless.
    For individuals who campaigned when absolutely everything seemed hopeless then Cordwell and Everitt stand out, if only because they would be two of the first people to recognise the efforts put in by many more, known and unknown.

    Oh, and Viggo Jacobsen....fact!

    I can't believe John Fryer doesn't get more of a mention.....Did he even get a mention so far?
    Not saying he was the greatest, but If it weren't for him there wouldn't have been a CAFC to support ...
