They spent £145m. Has a club that is going up to the top flight for the first time in over a decade ever spent anything like that? No wonder the owner is looking to sack someone!!!0 -

Personally i think they actually signed some decent players but i'd say there are 2 problems.
1) They went crazy and signed too many players. You can't expect 22 new signings (or however many it was) to gel immediately.
2) despite signing a lot of players their 2 centre backs (Cook and McKenna) were with them last year and are basically Championship level. If you want to stay up, you need a solid defence.1 -

West Brom to make official approach for Millwall manager Gary Rowett tomorrow. Did not see that coming at all. Neither did West bron fans by the look of it.1

Madness. Why on earth would they pay compensation for Rowett when there's plenty of decent out of work managers?0

They signed Jed Wallace in the summer. Now are after Rowett.
Who next, @MillwallFan and @Big_Bad_World ?5 -

That could be great news if Rowett leaves Millwall - Hopefully they'll go after someone like Pardew, JFH or Campbell as a replacement for him0

We're a steady(ish) ship but play the most turgid football. We have a squad capable of better but Rowett is the most reactive manager I've ever known us to have. We only ever start playing after we've conceded as we're set up to not lose.
Better the devil you know and all that, but if it meant we'd actually start letting the players play and express themselves a bit more then I'm all for him going.4 -
