I'm a big Dexy's fan, they made some very special records. Their 'look', was that ever a thing in the 80s? I'm slightly too young to remember. 

Their early look of donkey jackets, beanie hats and leather jackets was pretty common and the ripped jeans/dungarees was certainly around in the 80s.

Kevin Rowland has always had a unique dress sense.

Saw one of their first gigs in London at the Marquee- they had a very different sound.

I'm a mad Steely Dan / Donald Fagen groupie, my wife is a Tom Waits tragic, for a long time we were looking for some link between the two (never hurt to pour some much needed cement into the relationship too...)
