Oh man. Gutted to hear this.
Dan was a properly good bloke. I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times, the first of which was a while back when I'd just graduated from university and was looking for a job. He brought me into his offices for a chat and an interview, just to give me an overview of executive search and recruiting, and I still remember him telling me - at the time, a nervy graduate - to essentially not give a f*ck about knockbacks (of which that interview turned out to be one), and just keep confident. He was personable and absolutely bang on in his advice, and it definitely still comes to mind every once in a while. For someone I spoke to for perhaps an hour in a professional context, he made a lasting impression.
This is shocking news. RIP Dan you top, top man.20 -
As loads have said Dan and his dad were proper good people, so shocked when I heard this awful news.
