I'm surprised as well that there has been nothing about terms for Bower or Kedwell0

I suppose to be fair, he does have to act as a mascot as well.killerandflash said:Slightly surprised by Harvey being offered another deal, though I imagine the loss of Beadle opened up a place2

I assumed that too but the club confirmed Williams and Harvey earlier today, while Adign and Reilly recently posted their news on their Instagram accounts.0

Toure has been injured a lot. I expect him to sign.
The other two, who knows but 🤞

These just might be the most important signings we make this close season.2

Billy French signed a deal the same day as Ness, I see he has been injured for a lot of the last 12 months, but I haven’t heard him spoken of on here really.
Can someone a bit more knowledgeable than me, tell me about him and whether or not he is one we may see pushing this season or not as he doesn’t seem that young.0

Believe French is a CB, he only got a 1 year deal while Ness and Deji both have contracts until 2024. Suggests he's behind them in the pecking order. Don't think he's been out on loan yet so that might be the next step for him in trying to win an extension.RC_CAFC said:Billy French signed a deal the same day as Ness, I see he has been injured for a lot of the last 12 months, but I haven’t heard him spoken of on here really.

            Away to Wealdstone today.
This will be a good test for the boys as Wealdstone are in the National League Premier.1

I'll be looking out for him, if only to see who is the tallest.FishCostaFortune said:

Goal for Charlton. Aaron Henry plays it across the box to Euan Williams who calmly finishes past Howes. 0-1

            Won 1 - 0 with a Williams goal from a Henry assist.
An unreliable source told me the Wealdstone team turned up at Sutton in the afternoon.2

As posted on the Pre-Season Friendlies thread, I see from the club's email this afternoon, reminding Charlton TV subscribers to re-register their account on the new website, that there is now a behind-closed-doors fixture against Welling on Friday night at 18:45. Like the Swansea game the next day, it's being streamed live on Charlton TV. Although the email doesn't say, the club's website now states that it's a game for our U23 side.1
-
There was a Welling friendly booked a few weeks ago, with us due to play our U23s at Park View Road - that got cancelled though, along with all other Welling friendlies at PVR because of the work being done.
Guess this new one scheduled will just be at Sparrows Lane now.0
-
I expect so. Maybe switched from Saturday morning so the coaching staff can watch the game, unless there are three games, not two0
-
Is the match v Welling be shown on Charlton TV tomorrow? Think I saw it on a different thread, but cannot find it again now.0
-
What are the some of the better u23 players to watch for, just name a few.0
-
Really impressed by Richard Chin yesterday. Looked a very tidy player. Don’t think I’ve seen him play before. Definitely looked better than an out of position Deji. Is his natural position at RB?0
-

Richard emerged to my consciousness as a decent midfield player. I thought he was redeployed in the U23’s initially as a needs must right back.SouthWest_Addicks said:Really impressed by Richard Chin yesterday. Looked a very tidy player. I thought his height might be a weakness there, but he has done well. It indicates to me that he is a footballer rather than a specialist. He was out with a broken leg I believe shortly before his reemergence last season.
One to nurture, one to watch.3
-
So it's not just the first team lacking full backs, our U23s also seem to lack options, seeing that Chin is a midfielder, and Ness and Elewere CBs0
