Funnily I was there yesterday talking to a really nice older man, who mentioned this rainbow - Stunning to see it, shame I missed it!!

Just some quick snaps taken on my iPad as the cruise ship I’m on prepares to dock in Ullapool, hopefully you can see a rainbow, unfortunately not as spectacular as the one above which is stunning.

My wife’s just sent me this. She went downstairs and the cat was laying on the floor looking very pleased with himself, with the remains of a bird scattered across the kitchen  floor.

Will you roast or fry it later?

One of my cats is doing the bloody same at the moment... Been constantly bringing in birds of late

We even tried putting a collar on it so tweetie-pie could have a warning, nope no difference... stupid things!!

Have to keep the back door closed now when we go out, and let her back in when she's meowing by the locked cat flap to be allowed back in (the cat that is, not the wife)... Wouldn't mind so much, but its me who has to clear the mess as my wife is absolutely terrified of the things (birds, not cats)!!

Even had nothing but the head of a sparrow to dispose of recently.

recent report estimated that British cats kill 100 MILLION animals a year .. hard to imagine that .. The 232 animals in this photo were killed by house cats in just one year | National Geographic
