I think it is time for LB to come out and publicly identify the players guilty of letting the side down.1

Lyle has his say on poor recruitment... AFC Wimbledon's. Wonder what he thinks of ours?

Scores the winning penalty as Brum beat West Brom 1-00

I flicked onto this game while waiting for the Spurs game to start, just as the penalty was awarded. The commentators were from West Brom and one of them said that they really fancied him to miss the penalty.killerandflash said:Scores the winning penalty as Brum beat West Brom 1-0
I just laughed and thought "no chance".0

Surprise surprise he doesn't stay long at another club. What is the longest time he has spent at a club? 2 years? I never want him back in a Charlton shirt.0

Twat. Seem to forget that you were loved and wanted at Charlton but you walked out on us.oohaahmortimer said:7

Well he did leave us to go to what he called “big school”.Exiled_Addick said:

bloke was mustard for us - the way he left and got us relegated on the other hand would gladly see him struggle3

I Hope in the future when he wants to sign a contract, someone will say, "Have you ever failed to meet your contractual obligations?"1

That'll be when Taylor swiftly turns into Vicky Pollard2

Nice penalty. Imagine this felt like a World Cup moment for him. What a man. What a human. He's definitely a blue now.3

I don't think he will have unfortunately. Lyle is a narcissist. He's the only person who exists in his world and he can move the goalposts to align with his view any time he wants. He's also eloquent and intelligent, so his arguments make sense to him, make him feel clever and that makes them valid in his mind. When he left Charlton he justified it as being for his career, talked about his age and the importance of a last big contract, and then had a needless sly dig with his 'Big School' comments because he's not a nice person. In his mind he was justified, despite failing to fulfill his contract and letting down a team at real risk of relegation. He went to Forest fully in the mindset that he would succeed and be loved, he didn't and he wasn't and that was most certainly someone else's fault. Never his. A person with a normal brain would look back and see an error in their judgment, but fault doesn't cross the mind of a narcissist. He's gone somewhere better where they appreciate him in the way they should and everyone at Forest is bad. He didn't fail, getting 7 goals across 57 games, Forest failed him and now that he's loved again as he should be he can perform. He won't look back at Charlton, see that he could have continued on, helped keep Charlton up and left on good terms, he'll see a list of correct decisions punctuated by unreasonable reactions towards him for two years across two different clubs. The thought that if everyone you come across for two years is an arsehole then it might actually be you who's the problem will never cross his mind.Exiled_Addick said:

I just see him as a product of the modern day game, and the greed that exists within the game.
If anyone should have a major gripe with him, it should be Lee Bowyer.
Yet Bowyer signs him again, why? because Bowyer wants to keep his job at Birmingham now, and what happened with Taylor at Charlton is now irrelevant to both of them.
It matters to us the fans, but not them.
Loyalty, honesty and integrity has all but disappeared in the modern game, and I doubt we'll ever see the likes of a one club man like Keithie Peacock ever again.6

He couldn’t get a game at Forest and now at Millwall of the north knocking in the odd goal mainly pens.Twat0
