Decent comedy programmes and entertainment that used to give us a good laugh when there was no other agenda than entertaining, and no-one thought anything else other than that, before the lemon heads and those with a bit missing decided it was upsetting a few people and things had to change, and the weak just caved in.1

Pan Yan Pickle, that was a real shame when that went..2

According to this website http://www.foodsofengland.co.uk/Pan_Yan_Pickle.htm it seems the final owners of the brand - Premier Foods - lost the original and only copy of the recipe during a fire in 2004. So seems very unlikely, sadly.eastterrace6168 said:Pan Yan Pickle, that was a real shame when that went..
But if you are missing it that much there is a recipe on that site to make your own similar version.1 -
It would be nice to have the original long twiglets back. What were they, 4" long?

When this country had a sense of humour, all gone now. Programmes like the young ones and Saturday night live, benny hill etc. There was always the off or switch over button.AddicksAddict said:ppr

The Young Ones? Who ever complained about The Young Ones from those who could be called ‘woke’ at the time? It was The Young Ones, Ben Elton and the like that showed humour was possible without resorting to racism, etc. Indeed, they were more likely to call it out than resort to it.Chippycafc said:

Lots of people didn't like it, i recall at the time people wanted it stopped due to violence and the left wing flavour FFS....like people here cry babying about lol's. I suspect there are people here who are glad tom and jerry isn't shown anymore.AddicksAddict said:
