    Gosh, it's just all too quick. It seems like he'd only just had the Howlett's trip. Best wishes to his family, they seemed such lovely people. They were so strong for Ben, need to be strong for each other now. RIP Ben.

    Truly awful news.

    I only posted on here yesterday saying I was looking forward to reading more stories of memories made. Devastatingly, that couldn’t happen.

    On World Cancer Day, we lose another member of our Charlton family to this awful and cruel disease. 

    To everyone connected to Ben, my thoughts are with you.

    Tomorrow, let us sing Ben’s name with as much passion as he had for our, for his, club.

    Rest easy, Ben.

    I've never met Ben, but this news has brought tears to my eyes; such a brave young man.

    Gosh. This seems so sudden to me. I was expecting him to live and enjoy so much more. 
    So very sad. RIP Ben. I hope you enjoyed your last few months and knowing people cared as you slipped away.

    Terrible news. I was loving the photos of him enjoying him time with the players, and last weekend, so this is devastating. His bravery and his smile brought so much joy to everyone. Now he's with all the Addicks in the sky watching our club. Big hug for Garry and Sharron - we are all with you.
