Went off injured after 13 minutes.7

Just had to be replaced injured after 12mins
Fair play from the commentary team to have done their research, they pointed out that he started at Charlton.3 -
Came on as a sub for Ecuador vs Qatar.1

One of the thrills of supporting Charlton is we get to see the Ecuadorian stars of the future28

Not paid as it was part of his college course work experience. He also did the article about Kanu after the Plymouth match in midweek. But he's getting his name out there which can only help.shirty5 said:https://www.charltonafc.com/news/avory-it-feels-last-week-jeremy-was-here

Bring him back on loan.1

He has had minutes for Brighton in the PL this season so no chance.
Anyway, he had his chance to play for Charlton who paid for his football education from 12yrs old but preferred to leave before signing a contract instead.2 -
From the World Cup to Charlton, maybe a backward step for his career.0

I only saw him once at Eastbourne Borough in a pre-season game, he was a kid playing among men, he came on as a sub and ran rings around them. A fantastic footballer who I am sure will have a good career in the game.

Went back to Brighton last week. And now straight back on loan to WBA's promotion rivals, Ipswich, for the rest of the season2

Has had 2 good loans at that level but been used off the bench a lot. Probably needs to nail down a loan where he’s a regular starter and key player, and then he’ll be ready for the premier leagueScoham said:4 -

Has joined Cremonese on loan0

This lad hasn't done much in the nine years since he left us... He's only played one full season of football with Burnley, and a lot of bit part roles at five other clubs. Now a sub in the Champ, and Boro fans don't seem too keen.

A lot of nice touches on the ball and you can tell he’s a good technical player but he didn’t actually do anything did he.

I guess it depends what he wants from football. I do think he’d have benefitted from the Lookman approach of showcasing himself for us regularly but who knows.0 -
I know we’ve had this debate on this site thousands of times, but I don’t blame any footballer taking the more financially lucrative options. Just look at Mbick - one minute he’s potentially on his way to the Premier League, the next his season is over (and hopefully not worse than that). Tomorrow really isn’t promised when you’re a footballer.Laddick01 said:

Tomorrow isn't promised to any of us... Are we all trying to amass as much wealth as possible in a short space of time? If we were, we would've probably all gone into finance.se9addick said:
