2021-22 CL Prediction League Week 12 Results

There were no doubting Thomases before Charlton's game against Havant & Waterlooville, but, after 70 minutes, several predictors must have had some doubts. Then, like London buses, four goals came along in a row. While I was delighted for Mason Burstow scoring a well-taken goal, I and several others cursed as 3-0 would have been just fine. However, 13 predictors had the wisdom to predict a 4-0 win, so hats off to them.

This week's superstar is @Seabros, who scored an impressive 7 points that have led to a meteoric rise from mid-table in the National League to the dizzy heights of League One - well, not that dizzy but one place above Charlton's current position. It's also all change at the top of the Premier League where the pressure may have been too much for @56yearsofdreams. @GoOnYouHaddocks takes over the lead after scoring a healthy 6 points, opening up a 3-point lead over @oohaahmortimer, who continues to be Mr Consistency. @56yearsofdreams may well feel aggrieved as one of the sufferers from Burstow's goal as well as wondering how Man City didn't rattle in more than two at Old Trafford, a scoreline that contributed to @GoOnYouHaddocks' score.
