I will also confess to having layed Bangladesh runs earlier - 135 (@ 2.30), 125 (@1.66), 115 (@1.35) and 100 (1.14). I've not had too many sleepless nights worrying about laying runs in many other matches either. The markets have adjusted to the conditions out in the UAE but there is still an element of backers expecting runs as there are punters wanting goals in a game. Apologies if this undermines your excitement at my failure but I certainly won't lose any sleep over that unsuccessful lay of Pakistan's runs.

Phillips just 33 off 37. There is a "but" though as there's scoring at a strike rate of lees than 100 and scoring at a strike rate of less than 100. Phillips hit just one six and no fours. Hitting boundaries but chewing up balls in between is absolutely no use especially when the guy at the other end is a Guptill, Buttler or Maxwell. Phillips didn't do that and enabled Guptill to do what Guptill does best.0

Fair to say Cross was well and truly done there probably more by the ball jagging back than the pace. An innings of 27 off 29 balls that included 20 off 5 balls and 16 dots either side of those0
