What an incredible knock. There have been very, very few batsmen who've defeated these conditions. Morgan has mostly just had to watch
  • World class from Jos. And Morgs has played the supporting role perfectly.would like Mo in for the last 2 overs tho.
  • Buttler is just so so good.

Got to give Morgan some credit as well - very tough batting conditions and he’s had to really grind it out to begin with but he’s ably supported Buttler and a pretty crucial 40 to help get us up to a decent score. Let’s hope buttler can get us up to 160+

Possibly the best T20 innings I've ever seen, Buttler is doing ok too I suppose...

But to be fair to Morgan he gritted it out and didn't give it up 'til there was just 10 balls to go. His 40 off 36 is probably as good as could expect when Buttler is doing what he does
  • Moeen - there are 10 balls to go. Not the time to pat the ball back!

I'm glad I got a lot of work done this morning because I might as well have not bothered this afternoon!

Following the loss of 3 early wickets England have timed their attack to perfection
  • Buttler is god

Brilliant innings from Buttler.  We've finally got three T20i centurians in the squad!
  • As others have said, this is a brilliant innings from Buttler. I actually think that it is one of the best ever in T20 international history simply because of the conditions

    163-4

    Buttler 101* (67)
    Rest 56 (53)
  • What a man.

Still think we're 10-20 runs shy of a par score, going to have to bowl very well

I will be amazed if Sri Lanka get 140 on that wicket.

I think it's more than enough with our attack.

I could look foolish, but Sri Lanka aren't getting within 30 of that

Was following ball by ball on espncricinfo and thought yep he is gonna get the ton, then two consecutive dot balls and thought surely not a 6 off of the last ball…
