    If India do lose tonight then they are really going to struggle to make the semis even if they win their final three matches.

    Pakistan will go through as they only have to beat Namibia or Scotland to do so. NZ should beat Namibia and Scotland. The only way they that India could make the semis is if Afghanistan then beat NZ - it would then go to NRR between India, Afghanistan and NZ. Of course, if Afghanistan beat India they will be out anyway.

    The irony is that all of the Indian players have more experience of playing on these pitches recently than any other country competing in the WC given they all played in the IPL here

    Kohli and Warner are both in the "purist wants them to scorer 100 magnificent runs, but actually would rather see them castled into the stumps" camp. I'd love for both to hit a six at the tannoy man, then get run out off own batting after falling over.

    Is the horrible stadium announcing/screeching a cultural thing - ie an import from the IPL? It is so annoying in an otherwise enjoyable tournament so far
