Always fascinated me that WW2 Bomb damage was still obvious in 1985.Addickted said:No patches on the Covered End roof.....2 -
That's very kind , the money is not an issue though. We have limited space and it is damaged apparently.Jon_CAFC_ said:

Some Swedish guy playing loud music but I ignored his rants into his phone (sounded like "sign some fecking players, Steve" but I don't speak Norwegian)

@Arsenetatters
Very rare image we've never seen before of Charlton with the London Challenge Cup in 1923.
This was a first team competition at the time and was the first time we'd won in, beating Palace 2 -1 in the final.
We also reached the final the next season losing to Arsenal.
Our only other final appearance was in 1951/2 when we lost to Fulham
This postcard is part of a big collection of card and photos belonging to Bert Taylor (1898 - 1965)

Inscribed brass plaque from the 1947 cup final dinner.
It's approx 5" x 10" and it's very heavy.
Not to be confused with the similar, smaller plaques given out at the 50th Anniversary dinner in 1997.
So how it had found it's way to the east end of Glasgow until @SE7toSG3 tracked it down and brought it home.
Your donation and sales funds at work again10 -
To my horror, it turns out player sponsors shirts are not matchworn.Henry Irving said:
