That bloke really is a beast, for me, right up there with the best 4 or 5 CB's in the world at the moment. Will be vital for us in Brazil, if only he could play with Terry there

    And a good example of why young players move to the big clubs when people think they are better off staying put - for all the Scott Sinclairs and Adam Johnsons, there's Cahill, Milner, Henderson etc who are now winning things with big teams, and you've got to have faith in your ability.

    Will be 36 in December but has played every minute of Bournemouth's last 8 League games during which time they've picked up 22 points and conceded just 3 goals.

    Bournemouth signed him on a free and for someone who played 61 times for England and over 600 matches in total in his career, he only cost transfer fees totalling £12m.

    He could turn out to be one of the signings of the season.
