Of the chances they show (5 of theirs to 2 of ours) 4 of theirs came down our left. I said this on the match thread after about 20 odd minutes.up_the_valley said:

2nd game in a row where one of our big chances isn't shown. On Sat it was the clearance off the line in the last minute & tonight its Davisons shot on the 2nd half .......but we get to see Lee's tame first half shot instead.

Quite clearly shows that both their 1st & 4th were not offside and what the f*** was Matthews doing for their 2nd. Didn't even try to block it, just moved aside at let the ball go into the net.eastterrace6168 said:0 -
Absolutely shocking defending, but much of it is down to the team not being set up correctly and the defence exposed.
Matthews let his opponent cut inside, shoot and score the first almost identical to Saturday v Pompey.
He must have absolute shit for brains.
The second goal Watson lost the tackle, CBT I think, let the cross come in & Matthews let the bloke nip in.
The third Matthews let the opponent cut inside him once again and shoot, although he was up against 2 men & Lavelle partially blocking the shot teed up the goal nicely.
Fourth goal Purrington was with the scorer who he simply let run through and score whilst he stood there with his arm up appealing for offside.
Absolute shambles.
