Adkins has to go but the players are an utter disgrace too. There are several of them I hope I never see in a Charlton shirt again.11

Don’t want Jackson or Euell in the job, this is too critical now and we need an experienced head.23

Erm... didn't quite turn out that way.5 -
Anyone defending Adkins now, should be signed up by the club, as they'll probably be a better defender than any of the mugs out there tonight5

In desperate need of a couple of gallons of petrol
Happy to swap for an East Stand Season Ticket21 -
I have no idea how we are so bad. There are issues surrounding the recruitment strategy and fitness but there is no way this level of output after 10 league games can be justified. We've made 23 changes to our starting outfield players in the last 4 league games, I think only twice impacted by an injury. This is gross mismanagement. Sacking managers is nearly always a waste in my mind, not just of the severance but time and the money to redecorate to the new manager's requirements but I can't see how this ends in any other way.

woeful just woeful in defence
shambles of a football club right now.2 -
It's obvious something is not right.
We actually played well for about 70% of that game but totally lack belief.
Depressing.10 -
Was envious I couldn't be there about 25 mins in.
Adkins has to go really, but I'm not convinced that will suddenly turn things around.
Club needs so many root and branch changes as mentioned above.1 -
Lost the dressing room despite what you hear coming out of the training ground0

Infuriating
fucking infuriating! The football is dross, first half we looked ok but pissed about and didn’t really have much about us.
second half just shocking- lacklustre, complacent and impotent YET AGAIN!
matthews the weak link again, with the midfield being solid first half- Davisson solid upfront without being anything spectacular, lee missing.
second half we wanted to lump it forward, and with both wingers tiring , we desperately needed a Kirk or DJ to keep up the impetus of attacking on the floor - but Adkins has decided they aren’t to be seen!Desperately need a change in manager, with back room staff being replaced - send JJ & JE to the academy/under 23s and earn their stripes first!Free agent strike a must have too!TS, do the right thing son1 -
We scored first.We looked good.Somehow confidence drained away, gradually.We lost.4-1.It’s a wonderful life.3

That is an absolute fact.8 -

He really should be in the dressing room, not the TV studio.5 -
Didn’t want him when he got appointed and don’t want him now. Mans beyond vanilla and I just don’t think that’s what these players need. Too many take liberties, he still doesn’t know his best team and the constant tactical changes are weird. Our two most expensive wingers can’t even make the bench. Something very very wrong. See ya Nigel.5

In the words of Alan Curbishley on Charlton TV now:
’We’re second bottom of League 1….it just ain’t good enough.’35 -

If only everyone on the pitch had showed the effort/passion of Josh Davison.33

Not sure what's worse, that performance or the first train after FT being cancelled. Standing in the pissing rain at Charlton station seems about the right way to end this evening.9

On a personal note, my condolences to the 58 smart arses on here who LOLd me when I called out his appointment as a joke on day one.
Seems a lot of folks are taken in by a perma-tan, smooth patter and a grin.
Not me though.

Could only be described as ‘documentary shite’0

How is our fitness so bad? Every team we've played this season has looked fitter and sharper than us.
This is starting to have the feel of a relegation season, it feels like a decision needs to be made on Adkins sooner rather than later.3 -
The lowest point in 100 years of club history. I'm speechless.8
