We've not been too bad but got a bit sloppy after around 30 minutes. Matthews should've done better for the goal. Their left winger is the best player on the pitch though.0

Played so well for first 30 mins or so - really good stuff. Decent vocal support too.
Matthews did a couple of decent things while going forwards, but he's an utter liability defending - lucky to get away with his first error.
Just hope we can get some confidence and momentum and start playing like the first 30.1 -
And that's our issue. In most games this season we've done well for 35 minutes, but can never sustain it, and look totally lost for the other 55.grumpyaddick said:I thought we did well for 35 mins.0 -

They seem to have so much space on Matthews side all half. Had the better of it for most of the half but we're very soft at the back.
Nice to see our wide men being very dangerous. Some very good wing play but stopped using them in that last 15 mins which has let Bolton back into it.0 -
Leko and Davison have looked very good. Disappointing to be behind. Need to start converting the pressure when we have it. We will inevitably concede, one ain't enough.0

Considered opinion. Excellent for 25 mins. Best I’ve seen us. B-T & CBT mustard. Davison much more mobile than Stockley. Clare and Lee buzzing around to good effect. Lost momentum after half an hour. Bolton who had been as anaemic as their shirts suddenly scored after the usual lamentable back off from Matthews. Famewo looking shaky. LavElle has a very similar gait to Pierce. Makes a change for us to be attacking on the deck with four or five forward at once. Nigel must be tearing his hair out.

Would swap Leko and CBT. CBT will tear that left back for pace.1

We look a bit more organised but still too careless in defence and Bolton looked far better than us. We play a lot of hospital balls and are under pressure too much.0

Well it's just started absolutely pissing down here, so depending on how long it takes to make its way over, that doesn't bode well for the end of the second half.

Lee seemed to be too far forward for the 4-3-3 that we started with (and looked comfortable with for the first 35 minutes)
After that he's pushed up to support Davison - an unnecessary move. We've almost gone 4-2-4

Matthews was exposed but he should not let him inside, very similar to the Wycombe goal which wasn't down to Matthews.0

Good thirty minutes but lost our way from then on and the equaliser was inevitable.Again for the second game in a row Matthews was caught out and invited a shot on goal.CBT anonymous this half. Lavelle still looks uncomfortable playing out from the back.But a big improvement.

Same old crap - unable to get a 2nd goal when on top, and concede another sloppy goal. Anything less than a win and Adkins has to go.1

When you play Charlton, the game plan is simple: isolate the right back, cut inside and have a pop.1 -
