Conor Gallagher - Going to Athletico (p81)

Great player, but I won't forget when he tried to cut inside rather than go down the line against Hull at home, when we had already played the added time.2
-
I would say he is a good player, not a great player, definitely suited to a lower half Prem side rather than a top team.0
-
Be interesting to see how he, Eze and Zaha fit in the same team.0

Great player and what a pleasure to watch for them 5 months.
I'm hoping he has a brilliant start to the season keep palace just above the relegation zone.
Someone then comes in with a 25 million bid, he then leaves and palace get relegated.7 -

Why? He's 21 and playing regular premier league football and is now an U21 regular as well. Not saying he'll necessarily make it this season, but if he continues to play well there's every chance he could make his full debut in the next couple of years.eaststandmike said:I would be shocked to see him play for England.3 -
Depends if he wants to narrowly miss out on success, or give it a huge wide berth.Weegie Addick said:
Yes. He qualifies. Grandfather, I think?Scoham said:

Feeling quite sick watching him on MOTD.2 -
I'm delighted Conor is doing so well, he is a great lad and deserves it.
But it breaks my heart that he is with them11 -
At 21, Jack Grealish was still in two minds as to whether he would opt to play for Ireland or England - as the latter hadn’t shown a major interest by that point.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

It took until he turned 25-ish until he got his first cap. And now look where he is.
If the likes of Mason Mount, Jack Grealish etc can develop themselves and get in then there’s no reason Conor Gallagher can’t do the same.1 -
I can't help but like Conor. Oh the days of Cullen,Conor and Taylor.0

Conor Gallagher is looking more like the powerhouse player at Palace similar to Cafc but much better than his loan at WBA where he seemed to regress.

He's obviously much more comfortable playing in London and Surrey than he is up north.soapboxsam said:Conor Gallagher is looking more like the powerhouse player at Palace similar to Cafc but much better than his loan at WBA where he seemed to regress.2 -
I speak to his brother Dan sometimes, and he said something along the lines of 'he doesn't want to upset the CAFC fans but he wants to play in London' soon after signing. I think being near home is important to him, his family are very close knit, and that almost certainly has something to do with why he has looked so much better for us and them compared to WBA.Six-a-bag-of-nuts said:I'm delighted Conor is doing so well, he is a great lad and deserves it.

Absolutely ran the show away at Man City. Never been so conflicted in my life. 💔9

Assist and a goal against Man C. His quality is showing.0

So bloody annoying that they are getting the benefit of one of my favourite playersCallumcafc said:Absolutely ran the show away at Man City. Never been so conflicted in my life. 💔4 -

The nigels will be wanting to sign him on a perm i'd imagine. Hes destined for greater things than playing at shithurst one would think1

I’m hoping Tuchel will want him around the Chelsea first team next year. Otherwise a sale with buy back clause may well be on the cards…1

I think him playing for England is starting to become a more realistic proposition.eaststandmike said:I would be shocked to see him play for England.12 -
Sickening
im here tugging one out over smashing DRFC and them cnuts have beaten one of the best teams in the world away from home ffs4 -
Perfect for Chelsea, one of their own is instrumental in beating a title rival1
-
Makes no sense as he was never "ours" but it's genuinely painful seeing him do well for them.2

After a couple of games with us I said on here that he looks like a future England captain. Felt I was a bit OTT at the time, but look at him now. He’s got all of the attributes, but there’s stiff competition in the England midfield these days.eaststandmike said:I would be shocked to see him play for England.Wish he was playing for someone else though.4 -
From day one with us he looked a class above, such a good player, even with the players around for England, I’d be amazed if he doesn’t get caps eventually.7
-
We will see, he may get a chance but a regular, still can’t see itse9addick said:

I feel privileged to have witnessed his first touch of the ball in the senior game as our sub away at Blackburn. In an instant I knew he was special.
Take him away from Palarse in January, please, Chelsea. He deserves so much better.11
