I have just seen Lincoln City have announced Michael Appleton is to take a short break away as manager as he has been diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. He said he will be having the operation this week and that it is routine and he hopes to be back in a few weeks.
Im sure you will all join me in wishing him a speedy recovery and get well soon.

Get well soon, grim news to receive, though the prognosis is very good providing it's caught early

He had a successful season on the pitch and I wish him success off the pitch and trust they have caught the cancer in time and it's still localised.
Best of luck to Michael Appleton.1 -
