Its beyond a joke now and we deserve every bit of stick we get. Levy's position is untenable. He's getting away with it at the moment but that first home game he will be getting it on a scale he's never known before.
But as one of my mates said quite recently, you'd could literally be slagging off his wife to his face and he'll still see it as a bum of seat and ticket revenue.3 -

"Oh no, these fans who've collectively paid us about £2m for their seats are booing, however will I cope? How are the corporate lot enjoying the extortionate cheese?"

I am hearing rumours of Gerrard to Spurs.
Personally I don't think it is likely.0 -
Would they go for Martinez when Belgium are out of the Euros?0
-
Can I just say I have just turned down the Spurs job. Apparently they have just installed a new automatic dialler to ring everyone and save time :-)3

Dyche would be brilliant for them.0

Nuno Santos of Wolves fame is the next one on Spurs list. Advanced Talks according to the BBC.0

The Nigels are in meltdown.
Seems like both Santos and Favre have reneged on signing for them at the 11th hour.
No manager, six players not re-signed and no new players even close to signing with their pre season commencing next Monday.1 -
They can always go for another Favre.

Can only assume that there are two issues with the Spurs job:
1. Covid + them having to pay off the new stadium = there is not much money to spend.
2. Managers want to know if Kane will be staying.1 -

TBH it's the same as the Arsenal job. You have got to finish above the other one AND one of United, City, Chelsea or Liverpool or else you fail. Then throw in the likes of Leicester, Leeds, Everton and Westham that don't have the double wammy of massive debt and lack of control on transfers.
I don't see how the next spurs manager can be sucssesful, who ever it is.0 -

Former Borussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre has told Crystal Palace he wants a longer break from football, days after positive talks with the club.
I thought Palace was a break from football13 -

Seems Palace have @oohaahmortimer's brother supporting them."You could get anybody to manage this boring club. Never achieved anything. I really hope we get relegated. This may just be that season, if we do we’ll be in administration in a year".4
-
I presume Favre has gone for talks as ita a PL club, turned up, seen the place, and then thought "Eurgh, no, why would I work here?"
Very understandable.3 -
Maybe he was taken on a tour of the best bits of Croydon? Probably didn't take long then.0

So is McGreal going to Spurs or Palace.

McGreal is going on the Glenn Hoddle route to management - just missing out the middle man Monaco0

IF Sean Dych moves on from Burnley, it'd be no surprise to me if Burnley were to appoint their ex centre half and current successful Cheltenham manager Michael Duff as his replacement1

He lost Jota - with the cub replacing him expensively, with an unproven teenager. (That signing seemed a bit weird to me, what with the agent/Portugal links & the price they paid. I wonder if Nuno really wanted him?)
Doherty - one of their best attacking outlets, going to Spuds. (Their Semedo hasn't been a great replacement.)
Losing Jimenez due to that terrible head injury too! (& not getting the funds to sign a direct replacement)
Not forgetting the no crowd factor also.
I think he could have done a lot worse, & 13th was a respectable finish under the circumstances.4 -
