So their solution to a bloke worrying about Italian tax levels v UK tax levels is to go after an Italian?6

It goes from bad to worse. I called it. Not surprised. Not at all.1

If Spurs paid Jose Mourinho multi millions than why should anyone take the job with a wage cut of 50 to 60% less ?
Levy thinks he so clever and I guess he is when you consider how much he has been paid over the last few years.

It is just turning into a joke now. Not a supporter of Spurs but how bad can it be when they cant get a manager ? When you look at who they are now looking at they would be better off giving the job to Powell1

I feel they had a real chance in the last few years to win some silverware and establish themselves as a top, top club. If they get this appointment wrong and lose Kane they'll have to completely rebuild in some ways.
There's a lot of ambition in the top 10 of the premier league at the moment and I feel they'll fall behind some of those clubs for a while if they don't get this Summer right.1 - Sponsored links:

Someone said a few pages back they'll probably end up with Ryan Mason.
Doesn't seem totally unrealistic at the moment0 -

Clear to me Levy is the problem at Spurs, so what’s he got over the owner?0

Edwin Poots has resigned as DUP leader after three weeks in the job amid an internal party revolt.
Perhaps he's after the Spurs job6 -

Maybe give it to Mason for another season and see how he gets on...a bit like Man U did with Ole.

I'm amusing myself by imagining Adkins' next early morning message being: "Walking is great, talking is great. Anyway, I'm off to take over at Spurs so bollocks to the lot of you."6

"Hi Chris, Daniel here. I know it's a step down from managing Charlton but you given your experience of working under difficult CEOs and owners we'd like to offer you the head coach role at Spurs".0

Interesting that Klinsmann just said on BBC that he phoned Levy about the job as soon as Mourinho left but Levy said that he was very busy sorting things out and would call him back. Klinsmann is still waiting for that call.2

It was a bit cringe Gary kept asking and Klinsmann was looking uncomfortable0 -

The FA have got a habit, fuelled by the press, for picking someone who is as different to the previous manager as possible.
In that basis, it won't be Howe.
It will be old, experienced, expensive person, probably foreign and international experience won't be a requirement. On that basis it will be Jose0
