The Russian/Soviet one is an amazing piece of stirring, patriotic music11
-
after FOS, the Chile national anthem as I always picture Zamorano belting it out in 19982
-
The French, German and Russian ones are good2

This was because the Netherlands were under Spanish rule when it was written and they've never bothered to change it.

'I vow to thee my country' for me.

France or Italy. Quite like the Scottish one as well.

I agree on Italy.
France and Germany are good too.
Ours is dreary, let's be honest.
I think it's Vietnam's or somewhere that is brilliantly violent, all "for too long we've been quiet, now we're ready to f*ck you up" stuff.2 -
Finland, Finland, Finland the country I most like to be......Pony Trekking or camping, or just watch TV, Finland, Finland, Finland, Its the country for me.
Your so near to Russia, so far away from Japan, quite a long way from Cairo, Lots of miles from Vietnam.
Your so often neglected, and often sadly ignored, a poor second to Belgium, when going abroad0 -
God Save The Queen is the worst by a country mile (if you pardon the pun)5

Never understood the criticism of the English anthem. The moment where it goes into the powerful key change of “Send her victorious” always feels massive. Nothing dreary about it at all.5

I'm not sure there's much wrong with the tune, and the drum roll at the start is instantly recognisable. It's just that there are better tunes (and better words).

Yep, Italian, make a point of being ready pre match to listen when they are playing.0

I think England should adopt Jerusalem and God Save the Queen should be for Great Britain as in the Olympics. It seems odd that the other home nations have their own for individual competitions and we don't. Jerusalem is miles more stirring but I suppose we can talk with Red Red Robin being our song1

Wales - absolutely monumental.
