You’re getting the hopes of ordinary Charlton fans up, with you’re so called connections to the club and your so called ‘in the know’ mate’s.Henry Irving said:

Unless I’m missing something, you’re the only one that’s leaked it? 😂Henry Irving said:9 June being the club's 116th birthday it was chosen by TS to mark a new chapter in the club's history.
Not sure TS will be happy with this leaking after all the filming at the Valley and in the Museum but can't be helped.
Got a meeting at the Valley this week and another the day before the birthday so we shall see.And everything.0 -

Ronan ‘K’ sounds like Ronan ‘C’
Cracked it. We’re signing Ronan Curtis 😀2 -
If you're looking for a younger Darren Prately who is perhaps a bit better on the ball, we could do worse. What's his injury record like these days, I can't say I've followed his career closely since he left?superdulvertonred said:Jordan Cousins released by Stoke wouldn’t mind seeing him back.0 -
I also think there will be alot announced on the 9th. My own hunch is that TS has got players to keep quiet until a launch day. I suspect a special broadcast on valley live will be announced and then players will be introduced. It's a great way of building up the excitement. My own tips are Famwoe loan, Stockley permanent, chucks re signed. And some new signings. I would just add Piggott says he cant say where he is going !!! Just saying 🤭🤭🤭0

Not sure if it's injuries or just because he's back up (I suspect the latter), but he's averaging about 20 league games a season over the past few years.Exiled_Addick said:

No f**king way. I'd turn my back on him just like he did to us. To actually refuse to see out your contract is tantamount to going on strike.cafc_se7 said:I don’t even care, I would have Lyle back in a flash!
I didnt think we'd ever get a bigger snake than Parker and then came along Taylor.14 -
I hope you're being sarcastic because I'd like to think we are looking at better players than Jordan Graham & Randell Williams......and not seeing Pearce & Watson re-signing as great news either!Maccn05 said:My prediction for next week (nothing to see until the 9th I reckon)

Pearce and Watson deserve another year and you need experience in the squad .. Graham will join a championship side to good for league one and Randell we have been after fir a couple of windows and again to good for league twogolfaddick said:

Jordan Graham wouldnt be a bad option, got 12-goals and 6-assists for Gillingham this season and he's not a Striker - To put that into context; Joe Aribo got 9-goals and 5-assists in his last season for us so Graham could certainly be that goal scoring Midfielder / Winger we've missed the last few seasons.golfaddick said:

Unfortunately with Graham is the fact he has a history with injuries and whilst he managed 39-games last season in the League there is always going to be that nagging doubt over whether he can avoid breaking down again.4 -
We’d be bonkers not to try and sign Cousins.
He’s already shown he can perform comfortably in the Championship and is the perfect age for a senior player.17 -
He'll end up at Birmingham...GD78 said:Jonny Williams released by Cardiff 🤔

People will bemoan our chasing a former player, but for me, exactly the high energy, box to box central midfielder we need next season. I’d sign him in a heartbeat.ElliotCAFC said:We’d be bonkers not to try and sign Cousins.

Must make him one of the few unattached players at the Euros1

It could be an ideal chance for him to restart his career and I would welcome him with open arms; I think that a few here forget how talented he was. However, I can also understand if it doesn't happen.ElliotCAFC said:We’d be bonkers not to try and sign Cousins.
He’s already shown he can comfortably perform in the Championship and is just the perfect age for a senior player.
We'll have to wait and see, just as with other potential signings.
I know that we all want us to be ambitious as a club, but us fans have to also be realistic too, especially given recent events.
Personally hope that we follow the blue print from the Powell era; young talent, experience and, above all, ambition.
I'm sure that before too long that we will know in which direction we are heading, and I'm confident it will be onwards and upwards!1 -
I do understand the hesitancy when looking at former players, but like anything, it’s not binary.RC_CAFC said:

He’s got great pedigree, is never injured and gets bonus points for keeping Ben Watson out the team.4 -

Stockley really successful loan spell. Graham was one of the best, if not the best winger in the league last season and was incredibly highly rated as youngster while Randell Williams had all sorts of Championship interest from the season before last until an injury curtailed him... if you've not seen him he's rapid, which is what this team needs.
Pearce I'm comfortable with as a good pro and back up... and yeah Watson was in there because he's staying as a reminder you can't have everything you want in life.
Who are you expecting? because I didn't see many household names in any of the teams that went up this season?0 -
Cousins has not been good the last couple of years. He was never very good passer but always made up for it with his energy and ability to cover a lot of the pitch and drive forward with the ball. This past year he seemed slower negating some of his strengths. I am not saying he can’t succeed in League one but it is by no means a certainty that some on here think it is. I am fine with signing him but we should also look for someone else to compete with him for a starting spot as the midfield box to box.1

I wonder if Adkins’ positivity could some something for Williams?4
-
I thought Williams got longer than a six month deal? Very odd. He only got one start and a handful of sub appearances.

Love to see JW back at the club; I agree that he may be just the sort of player that Adkins might see as a 'project'.Dizzle said:I wonder if Adkins’ positivity c.ould some something for Williams?

Had a very much of a bit part role there... Was involved in more games than I thought thoughbigstemarra said:

There must be a way of structuring a deal that would incentivise Chuks appropriately. Relatively low basic, good appearance bonus, very good goal and assist bonuses. Make him want to start games and reward him for his goal contributions. Good for him if he plays and delivers, lower cost for the club if he doesn't.ShootersHillGuru said:I doubt Charlton’s offer to Chuk’s would have pushed the boat out. We know exactly what his issues are and if they are likely to be resolved. Any other club I would think would be looking to pay based on appearances or at least heavily weighted in that way. His game time issues are really quite ridiculous.2 -
Did he actually play a game for them?GD78 said:Jonny Williams released by Cardiff 🤔
