Have to say, Aneke hasn’t really been on top form today. Not sure whether Adkins will want to take a punt on him if he can only play as a sub.

He’ll score in the 87th minute.

Said months ago 75 points was the target. People might say 74 but our GD has always been far worse than anyone else......even winning 6-0 hasn't worked.

Nice work from Maatsen down the left, but the defender nicks the ball off his toes.

He certainly won't be Liverpool's answer when Mané leaves them

Should have got rid of bow a bit earlier 👀
This. We wasted 6 weeks when it was obvious LB's time at the club had run its course.

Anyway, I'm not despondent. Next season is going to be a good one.

Corner, Charlton Athletic. Conceded by Harry Wood.

Why are we going to the corner flag with five mins normal time still to play?

Great footwork from Chuks when it looked like he lost it, ball goes wide to Millar, and he pisses about by the corner flag, and somehow wins us a corner.
  • Options
Holding it in the corner on 85 mins, small team mentality

Why are we time wasting? It doesn’t matter if we win, at least give us an entertaining last night 5 mins

The Scott Parker comparisons with Albie are outlandish in terms of the relative abilities of the two of them, but perhaps not so much in terms of how do you see Albie getting into this team regularly.

Albie’s always been an attacking mid, but he’s struggled to stamp his authority on matches in that area of the pitch. Not terrible but never commanding. For example I believe Shinnie regularly looks to have that bit extra that Albie doesn’t.

Can Albie reinvent himself as an action ball winning box to box player player like Parker did? I think he could have the attributes personally. He’s even got a bit of silly run like Parker used to.

Taken short, and after a bit of toing and froing, Morgan wins us a free kick on the LH side of the area.

Has anyone told them that if we score 6 more we get into the play offs. A 1-0 win does nothing.
