    By christ the atmosphere there was atrocious yesterday. First friendly I've been to at the new wembley - it was utter gash, despite England playing reasonably well. I went to the Barbarians game there just before Christmas and the atmopshere was much better. The only time I heard any cheering was on the tube back to London!
