DJ on the left just doesn't work for me - he just slows everything down. I'd like to see Millar on for him asap.
You've missed all the help he's given Purrington then?

I'd switch Maatsen and Jaiyesimi if anything as Matthews hasn't really been supported so far.

Thought DJ did alright? Seems like another player who's been 'marked'.

Nice game for the neutrals - nightmare as a fan.

    Amos on fire.
Many neutrals paying a tenner for this, do you think?

Didn’t know it was four promoted this season, pleased we’d be in the playoffs in seventh place..! Thanks Valley Pass for the helpful graphic. :-)

Do we make the most of this though? A lot of his headers go to no one because he’s too isolated.

WTF was that free kick even for

    Darren Bent Bent Bent.

One of the great injustices of modern game that he was blatantly passed over for England selection at the World cup.
    You thinking 2010?

To cut Capello some slack, he did pick Defoe who was basically a better version of Bent.

We are so wasteful when we get the ball going forward.

Not marked by me. Just saying what I've seen. He seems to slow quite a bit down when he gets the ball to attack.

Shit. McGeady crosses from our right but Innis is down clutching his leg.

Matthews is out of his depth - can’t tackle and the wrong side of his player -nothing to do with more help

If we want to win this game we're going to need another goal because this ref has got a penalty in him.
  • Options
    That was our handball
  • Options
Innis possibly suffering from a touch of the Pearces, as he's back up now.

So JFC gets booked for that but nothing for a deliberate handball

    Great day so far ref
