We seem to be rushing to move the ball between us, and that’s causing poor passing.2

Our 2nd and 3rd kits this season are Lennie Lawrence era colours!LennyLowrent said:Don't like us in blue...1 -
Matthews intercepts well and wins us a throw near the RH corner.

Don't know if Pratleys been asked to stick to McGeady like glue, but he isn't......and should be.2

Depends on the job he has to do.Valley11 said:I know Adkins has sung his praises but I still don’t get Gilby.Shinnie a much better footballer IMO.
Shinnie is more creative, perhaps. But Gilbey stronger in the ball winning and still capable of a killer pass.
Remember, Adkins said he set out to nullify Doncaster.
It may well be the same game plan today.

FFS Ref... You give a free kick against Purrington but bloody bring it back for the shirt pull on Gilbey!!0
-
Nice bit of work from Gilbey down the left there and then the ref awards a bit of a soft free kick against Purrington.

Stockley has better accuracy heading than Aneke, but far slower and less physically adaptable.
Ref is a joke.
Gilbey done well there, before a slight touch and the Sunderland player dives.0 -
Good work by Gilbey and Ben Purr down the left, only halted by another soft free kick to Sunderland.0

We took two for a midweek game at Roker Park either 70 or 71, they'd just come down from 1st Division & Joe Baker scored a hatrickLewis Coaches said:

Not a bad turnout for an away game.

Or maybe because Sunderland are pressing us quickly?RaplhMilne said:We seem to be rushing to move the ball between us, and that’s causing poor passing.

Gilbey needs a run of games to get going. He’s quicker than our other CMs and gets in to the box - Adkins has possibly gone with him as that gives us a better balance than JFC and Shinnie playing together.Valley11 said:I know Adkins has sung his praises but I still don’t get Gilby.Shinnie a much better footballer IMO.1 -

Brownie saying if only we can tidy up these 3-yard passes, but it's been like this all season0

Great breakaway... DJ a bit too slow0
-
Don’t think we’re getting anything from this ref today.1
-
NIce ball from Gilbey to DJ whose cross is blocked for a corner from the left. JFC to take.

That’s what we’ve fucking missed. Get in!0
