It may not have been the most exciting transfer window but at least there were no last minute disasters and no chancers faking it with their snack tables. On balance, I think we're probably in a better position now than a month ago. Thanks to Thomas for making it possible to at least have a window we could half believe in. Thanks to the management team for doing their best. Good luck to all the players who moved, both joiners and leavers.5

I'm just thinking of the poor sods on here who have 50 pages of this thread to read, dilligently ploughing there way through it, reading every post with rising anticipation ...... hopeful that a new signing will be announced on page 183.
A bit like when you read the Match Thread without knowing the score after the game has finished.
